About Me

I know you can read the "About Me" link, but here is some additional info to give you some more background into my life at the time I started to get sick: I was getting ready to celebrate my 10th wedding anniversary with my husband and the first birthday of my third child. I had just finished my 13th year as a high school math teacher and 11th season as a high school girl's basketball coach. I had also just gone "official" with my side business, "Lettography." My symptoms started the week school got out during my week of co-directing Vacation Bible School. My husband left the next week on a mission trip to Haiti, and I was carting the kids to swim classes. Wow, when I see that all in print... I was really busy! But summer vacation was upon us! I have a love/hate relationship with summer vacation, as it takes us a couple weeks to adjust to being with each other ALL the time. We head north for the summer to a glorious land of low humidity and fresh, clear lakes where the kids can play outside all day long! (Let's just hope it doesn't rain too much)... We are blessed to be able spend summers like this!
